 AMCIS Network Advantages:
- Customizable to fit the needs of your practice
While the AMCIS Network provides the features and functionality that are needed for all aspects of patient care, no two practices are the same and we recognize that their may be a need for custom development for some practices. By taking this approach to implementing your EMR, we ensure that your workflow is not disrupted and that the AMCIS Network provides you with a tailor-fit solution.
- Gradual modular implementation
No nightmare conversions; your timetable is our timetable. Too often, practices are forced to ‘swallow’ EMR products whole. This can lead to disruptive consequences and the last thing your practice needs is to negatively impact the volume of patients that are being seen. In order to maintain your workflow and patient volumes, we can implement the AMCIS Network in modules that are easy to ‘swallow and digest’. This can be very helpful at larger practices when some providers are less gung-ho than others to implement an EMR.
- Web-based but not Off-site
The AMCIS Network is a web-based which means it can be accessed from anywhere on a web browser and no special software need to be downloaded. At the same time, the data resides on a web server in your office, so if your Internet connection goes down you still have full access to your system. This also adds a level of security for your data since your system is not residing at some company location half-way across the country.
- Automated Back-up
A mirrored server that is also on-site stores all system data in real-time so that any failure of the main server can be overcome in a few minutes by switching to the mirrored server. In addition, the system data is automatically back-up offsite seven days a week without any additional work by office staff.
- Secure patient portal
With true on-line scheduling, patient entered medical history, Rx refill requests, lab results, etc. See the Patient HealthPort section to learn more.
- Affordable entry costs and low maintenance fees
The perpetual software license for the AMCIS Network is reasonably priced and is usually paid-off in increased efficiency and patient volume within a year. Support fees are affordable and are suited to the size and needs of your office.
- Increased patient volume while reducing staff workload
The AMCIS Network has proven results showing that purchasing the system is an investment not an expense. See Case Studies to learn more.
- Integration with YOUR practice management/billing software
We can integrate the AMCIS Patient Care Manager with your billing system or provide you with a new billing system if you need one.
- Increased practice revenue with improved insurance reimbursement due to better coding & billing
E&M Levels, ICD9 and CPT codes all flow from the Patient Care Manager to the Billing system for faster and more accurate billing.
- Simplified, efficient patient care
From scheduling the appointment to completing the note and Billing the patient. The AMCIS Network provides a seamless solution that maximizes patient involvement and intelligent design to allow your office to work more efficiently.
- Reduced overhead & expenses
Improved efficiency with less paper & charts, pulling/filing and storage space
- Dramatic reduction in call volumes
Because patients can complete most of their desired tasks online, they don't call as much. See the Success Stories section for ROIs.
