 Overview
M.D. Web Solutions is a Physician Practice Information Technology (IT) provider, serving to meet the unique needs of each physician practice with which it partners. Because physician practices are at different stages of IT acquisition and understanding, M.D. Web Solutions can help physicians address their current IT needs and assess their future IT goals. Whether the practice is seeking a website or fully integrated electronic medical record, M.D. Web Solutions can help.
M.D. Web Solutions gives individual attention and personal service to physicians. Physicians are respected as the architect of their solution, and an M.D. Web Solution consultant will be at your side providing you with the technical knowledge necessary to design the tailored solution. Some physicians will know exactly what they need and others will still be exploring solutions. In either case, M.D. Web Solutions can provide the necessary system and explore potential solutions. As the IT at your practice evolves, M.D. Web Solutions will be the dependable, long-term partner that you are seeking.
M.D. Web Solutions is a Physician Partner working together with the practice to provide solutions for Physicians and their Patients.
Management
In July of 2004, Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson declared this to be the “Decade of Healthcare Information Technology”. Dr. Spiro, Founding Partner and General Manager of M.D. Web Solutions, foresaw the coming of the new age in Electronic Medical Records in 1996, as a Medical Student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Despite skepticism at that time regarding digitizing the healthcare environment, Dr. Spiro extended his graduate school education and earned a Masters in Business Administration at the R. H. Smith School of Business, College Park, ranked third in the nation in Information Technology, prior to completing his Medical Doctorate. Dr. Spiro was the first student to complete an M.D./M.B.A. curriculum at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Spiro has also been a Consultant for GE Medical Systems Information Technologies and a Physician Executive, as Medical Information Officer, for a $750 Million Community Hospital Network in Tampa, Florida.
