The AMCIS Physician Exchange allows secure exchange of patient data and interoffice communication between practices in The AMCIS Network.
Medical records can be received from other physicians without delays, security risks, and the costs of copying and faxing records. This means better continuity of care for your patients.
The Exchange does not require that a separate server is housed remotely from the doctor's offices. This is because AMCIS Network is mesh of servers residing at physician’s offices that can communicate in a secure fashion over the Internet. So, if the Internet connection at an office goes down, it does not affect the other practices. Each practices’ patient records reside within their office.
