With the AMCIS HealthPort patients can request referrals and print referral forms online.
The feature is very useful for reducing patient calls and streamlining the referrals process.
Once a referral request is submitted by the patient, with a few clicks the referral coordinator or provider can approve and fax the referral form to the referring provider. At the same time, the patient receives an e-mail notifying them that they have a message in their eChart. They can then log into the HealthPort to print their referral form.
